Hey all thought i would share my confusion..

Well went showjumping on Thursday and came fifth in te 2ft3 which is my FIRST PROPER rossette on him so i was happy. People were saying about how good he is for a TB well today they would of seen a different side to him, backing up, would not walk he was a typical TB then he reared so i think for the first time, you see im not sure he did rear, because.

We were walking down the grass hill/bank and he suddenly went weird i thought it was rearing but then looked back and seen skid marks, so i dont know whether when he slid went forward and up or reared? I think he may of slid and had a panic.

So i was curious to why they have there funny days!? Does any ones horse/pony stay the same all the time or is there different moods?

It happens to me all the time, one day my mare is an angel! Stops almost right after I ask her and doesnt run off too often (shes still really green and eventually stopping is an accomplishment). But then there are the days where she doesnt want to stop, doesnt want to get the correct leads, doesnt want to jump the crossrail from this direction, but then shes a mare so I've gotten used to it, hope your odd days get better! Plenty of others have the same problem.
