Freedom saddles

Any news on these saddles?
Is there anyone with a trial model willing to comment on it and even let me view it or have a ride in one?
Would love to do my research so I can order when they are availible. I'm in the Midlands. Thanks.

I'm cross posting a message from Peter on the Enlightened Equitation website discussion forum your information. I hope the information is helpful.

"As promised in the lead-up to the BEE, we anticipated being able to release the Freedom at the show. Unfortunately we have experienced very significant delays in manufacture, due to circumstances entirely beyond our control.

"We are continuing to test the treeless saddles and make further modifications due to the enormous amount of feedback that we have had from the beta testers. In particular, we are working on the possibility of producing a less expensive alternative with similar design characteristics. Testing to date has been very successful, with many of the testers reporting significant improvements in their horses, and positive riding experiences.

"In line with our projections, the main testing phase is complete, and we are now collating the results and finalising the modifications to be included in the production model of the saddle. We have experienced significant delays in the manufacture of the saddles, and these delays have unfortunately led to a lengthening of our estimated release schedule. Enlightened Equitation is totally committed to testing and quality control, and for that reason we will not compromise horse and rider comfort and safety by releasing saddles before we feel ready to.

"We are reluctant to give out any projected release date as a result of the manufacturing delays experienced. We DO anticipate being in a position to supply saddles early in the New Year, and as such will continue to take expressions of interest and make contact with you when we are ready.

"In the meantime, thanks to EVERYONE involved for their patience and forgiving - Heather and the rest of the EE team are looking forward to making the Freedom a reality early in the New Year with a number of very exciting new developments.
