Shorten *your* right stirrup a hole.... That's normally how you do it ...

unless you ride something that requires long stirrups, and then you lengthen your left one. ;) sorry, couldn't resist!

hello!

I don't think your uneven-ness comes from your legs at all so I'm not sure that doing anything to your stirrups would help.

Your shoulders don't seem to be level, and your hips look a bit unlevel too. Also, it may jsut be that you have your left leg a bit further forwards than your right one....

Hmm, when you reply to a post you can no longer see the photo so I may have my lefts and rights totally wrong here, but hang on... it looks like you have collapsed your left hip, ie your left shoulder is lower than the right and the left hip is bent more and the right side of your torse is slightly over to the right. This means your right leg will hang a bit 'longer' as your body is slightly over to that side (ie you are sitting over to one side).

Try to think about putting a bit more weight into your left seatbone and think that you have a bungy rope on your head holding your head and back straight. This hopefully will help, though it will take time.

BY the way,you are only very slightly uneven compared to an awful ot of riders!

bye!

I'd have someone help you, you drop your stirrups and get positioned so that the observer can tell you, yes, that's centered! Then get a feel for that position at the walk and then when helper says you are still OK, have stirrups put to the proper length.

I guess.

go to a chiropractor/osteopath. i have wonky hips from an old injury and every so often i need putting back in place. no point trying to centre yourself by just shifting in the saddle/playing with your stirrups if there's something physically wrong. most of us are asymmetrical to some degree and it can often be helped or corrected by a professional.

I agree with Es, you might find a visit to an osteopath beneficial. Its not just for us old fogies, both my daughters have needed treatment and it might save problems later.
