View Full Version : Eeek - Thank god for Saddle Co Saddles!

Finally had the new Genoa GP checked over today, and as I suspected it might has gone back to have the flocking adjusted as it was sitting a bit low at the front and hence lifting very slightly in trot.

A wither template was also taken and to my dismay the saddle now also needs widening again as madam has built so much muscle, it was actually starting to pinch her a bit:eek: I had noticed she was starting to be a little less willing in the school lately, this was possibly the cause. If I'd bought any other make I'd now be looking at £600 of redundant leather:D

Fortunately it will now be adjusted to the new template quickly and easily and back to us in no time.

If anyone is in the market for a new saddle, I'd have a serious look at the Saddle Co, the fitters are excellent and thorough and the saddles are very nicely made and really good value for money. I'm well impressed.

Have to agree Yann - myself and other half each have a dressage and GP from the Saddle Co. and can't recommend them highly enough. A girl on our yard has also just had one and is delighted with it too.
OH's tb has very prominent withers and had quite severe muscle wastage - his first Saddle Co. saddle has had to be adjusted as he's muscled up so much, and there was a big difference in the template when he was measured for his GP.He actually looks like a different horse now, in his shape and the way he moves.

We are now almost fully Saddle Co saddles of various makes now. Predominantly HM.

They are very good value for money.
