On Sunday I decided to do some jumping in the field and I started off about 2ft9 and my friend kept putting the jump up till we got to 4ft9 and Grace cleared it. I was well impressed by her performance. I will try and get some photos of her doing it. sorry I just had to tell everyone

Actually I'm forgetting the 4'6" 5 bar gate we jumped a couple of weeks after I got him. Not intentional I add!

Ditz, what happened? Anyway, very well done! There were two girls at my current yard who kept lifting the bar like that and one girl jumped her horse about 5 ft. :D

Well I'd had him a couple of weeks and we went for a nice canter down a long stretch of track and he got faster and faster. I thought he would stop at the bottom  so when I tried to stop him and he wouldnt have it I didnt worry too much. Anyway he didnt and round the corner was a 5 bar gate leading where you have to dismount and cross the railway line (yes thats right a railway line!), so again although he didnt stop I wasnt overly worried because I 'knew' he would have to stop before the gate. Ha ha, not so! He did in fairness slow down just long enough to jump it. Fortunately no train coming!
