how long should he be out of work

i am suffering from a bad cold at the moment and feel weak, how long will my pony be ok to leave out of work

that would depend on what type of pony he is. If he is easy going and laid back then a couple of weeks wont hurt him but if he is quite highly strung then a few days is enough. This also depends on how fit your pony is because if he is only ridden every few days or so anyway then it wont matter if he doesnt work but if you usually ride every day then it would be better for you both if someone else could exercise him for you.
