Hi all. Im a new rider interested in getting rider only insurance. Can you help with what to do or what not to do? Thanks.

Ask the British horse Society, they do insurance. L

I've got NFU's rider insurance. I've never had a claim so can't say how they'd be then, but I'm happy with the level of cover and they haven't done anything to annoy me yet. It's £50ish a year.

I used to have rider only insurance through E&L before I got my horse and needed to insure us both!
I don't want to say too much, but suffice to say I wouldn't insure a rocking horse or its rider through E&L again.
It is definitley worth paying a bit more for insurance and getting it from a reputable company- NFU, Pet Plan and Kibis all get a GOOD name!
