i'd like to do a website about adults who ride ponies :) but, although i am an adult, i currently lack my own pony and don't get to ride ponies at the moment :( (which is partly the reason why i'd like to start such a website: i'm sick of all these 'experts' telling people smaller horses/ponies are for kids and that adults shouldn't ride them).
and that's where you come in :D
any articles about the subject of adult + pony, pictures of you and your ponies/smaller horses (icelandics and exmoors in particular!!!), links to your websites and stuff. i will, of course, attribute the materials to you and link to your sites!!
cheers :)

(i usually just lurk and read)

Great idea
I too have the same problem and actually didn't rejoin my riding club this year because I was consistantly bullied about selling Maverick because he was useless and I am overage to ocmpete. Who cares if I am overage when I can only get to about 5 shows a year, none of which have age limits anyway!
I don't look too big for Maverick so were is the problem, its not as if he lets kids ride him anyway (as he showed me this year) so why can't I just keep him because its not as though its doing any harm to anyone.

Unntil I meet Maverick in the flesh I find it hard to see him as a pony at all, his pictures look like he's a middle weight hunter:D ;) ;)
What do you need, you can lift any pictures from out sites if you want, www.thordale.co.uk or www.geocities.com/tonkii2000/horses

Actually if he's 14hh you can represent a riding club, I think that only applies to jumping & cross country though as you can do dressage both affiliated & non-affiliated with a pony I have done this regularly.

Sorry, you see apparently at 13.3hh he can't do anything, not even take part in SJ lessons because all the strides would be wrong.
when i'm older and have a horsebox, I'll travel to a riding clud that isn't prejudice :)
