Hunting..

Hi,

I am really keen next Season, to take Molly Hunting, have any of you got any tips, and rules when i go?

Do any of you know how much it costs?

I think, when you go hunting that you are not supposed to pass the huntsman is this correct?

Ive also heard about being 'blooded' that if you havnt been hunting before you get blooded if they do catch a fox!

Ive only ever been hunting once, and that was for about 1 hour, when we met the hunt whilst we was on a hack and we stopped with for a while until they went to far!

Hi Hayley, in keeping with NR's policy on no hunting posts to avoid the inevitable heated discussions which follow, can I suggest you either do a search for posts on hunting in the archives or do a google search instead.

It's an emotive subject and someone will always end up upset if it's discussed here again. The mods have requested that we don't bring it up on the board before.

Sorry hayley, but chev is right, we try to avoid talking about hunting on NR. If you want to find out who your local hunt is, try the mfha website, the secretary will be able to tell you how much the hunt charges and what the dress code, etc is.
