Well I haven't seen her for over a week and today herself apparently wanted to tell me about something very very very special - which I wouldn't have understood - it's been SO long happening!!

Human was there to tell me too thank goodness.

Apparently a few days ago she was "found"...............bit of a broken fence was found too!!

AND SHE WAS IN THE NEXT PADDOCK WITH A NEWCOMER TO THE YARD. Said horse is a 4yr old Morgan mare.

So Kerry has now satisfied herself that she's now got a friend to go out with - she's SO choosy this has taken her about 4 years to accomplish.

Ohhhhhhhh - I did shed a tear.

Thanks for your reply Gemma.

I am absolutely confident that she will not make a habit of breaking through fences.....................that's because I know she would only do this:

a) to care for/protect another equine who needed her, as well as (for her, imo) to experience what we humans might call "self actualisation"............case in point!!

b) to rid herself of a situation she felt was intolerable (she did that a couple of year's back.................and I understand why she did this so would protect her from all similar situations), and I'm also absolutely certain that the person whose care she was in at the time also listened to her and didn't rebuke her!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose my last comment would be that she probably, on this occasion, "jumped" the fence.....................maybe the youngster caused the break in the fence - I don't know!!

What I do know is that if I had been there in the run-up time to the actual crossing of paddock borders, I would have recognised what was happening and saved the broken fence!!

That's ok. Absence of smileys just meant I could explain a little bit more - I have never been able to work out how to produce them at all (smileys I mean) else I would often have used them.
