I believe in Cananda they have a course to train to be an equine physiotherapist where you do not have to train to be a human one first. my understandin is that most other equine physio courses are only for people who have trained to be a human physio. Human physio training is very hard to get into in NZ so makes it difficult for people who want to be an equine one.
Any information about this or any other equine physio courses in any countries would be most appreciated.

hey, i had a careers convention the other day with an equine physio, in England and Wales you have to train to be a human physio and work for the NHS (National Health Service) for a minimum of 5 years, then you can go on to train as an equine physio - either by studying for 2 days a week over a period of 2 years or by training for a solid 6 months.

But then once you've trained as an equine physio you can carry on working as physio's for both horses and people, therefore greater job opportunities :D
