Hi everybody.

I think this might be of some use to you, as regards feedback on the new Flexion saddle.

Heather came to visit me on Saturday, and we tried the saddle on my lusitano, who according to Heather is a high wither horse. The saddle seemed to give him enough clearance.
Then we did a riding test, both Heather and I rode him. Itīs a pity I didn't take any pictures...

Anyway, the new saddle feels very good.
Most important point, it molds to our body and the horse's body, and we can feel all the horse's back movement with our seat and legs, the same way the horse can feel our seatbones moving. The saddle also has enough clearance for the horseīs spine.
I was also impressed with the smoothness of the leather. Another advantage, knee blocks are removable and adjustable, so you could easily convert a dressage model into a GP.
It is sooooo light, itīs almost unbelievable. It made me realise what horses have to endure on their backs... our bodies and heavy saddles too.
Although the saddle resembles a conventional saddle, it is not exactly like one, unlike the Flexion Supreme. I donīt know if it would be allowed at a dressage competition, but once you seat on it, it looks as if you are riding on a common treed saddle.

I ordered one of these saddles, but unfortunately it might take some time to come. Heather's saddle was brown, but I am waiting for a black one.

Heather, I forgot to ask: How long until I get my saddle?
;)

Heather has just clarified in the EE, that the Flexion can be used at any dressage competition.
Excellent, even better.
