Has anyone used these? What do you think? Can you use them in competition (specifically dressage tests)?

I use them all the time, I wish I had them years ago.
I don't know about dressage rules, cannot think of one off then top of my head which would stop you using them.
I love them, we use them a great deal in our school, in fact it's ust about all the stirrups we have. It stops fol over deepening their heel or losing their stirrups.

Lynne, I'd just like to back up what Wally has already said. Also, to be honest, the HM wide tread stirrups don't look much different to any other when your feet are in them.
I've done several long rides now where my feet/ankles would normal have ached and they really have felt as though they could have gone all day.
When I'm saddle fitting, I often pop a set on for people to try and the reaction is alway the same.... 'Oh, aren't these comfortable!'
Give them a go, you won't be dissappointed :)

Thanks :)
Do they 'go' with normal stirrup leathers (any recommendations there too?) or do you need to buy special ones .... sorry for the dumb questions!

Hi Lynne,
Normal leathers are perfectly Ok with the stirrups- but we will have our own dressage leathers shortly, which are altered at the bottom, but can be used for any discipline, not only dressage!! Means you only have one thickness of leather and no buckles under your leg.

Hi
That's great, I've been wanting to get dressage leathers! Do you know when they will be available, if it's soon I may as well order both together?
Thank you
