Kerry is rejuvenated. However, I am still recovering. So I'm often in the mode something like: what's going to happen next!! SO, in terms of development, I'm lagging behind her (again) because nothing much is about to happen anymore.
Could Heather or one of her experts please just say plainly how I should ask Kerry to canter (and perhaps put in all of the stuff I shouldn't do).
She just so much wants to do loads and loads of things - to show off (what she's capable of and not to be naughty). In the last few days she's also told the yard that she wants another new mare to join her club!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now for anyone who knows Kerry - that's a big signal that all is right in her world.
However, as the owner who has been rendered an absolute wreck through all of her past troubles I need some help to help her.
She doesn't wish any more (for example) to do lateral movements as a trick - she really really does them with her heart and soul!!
Her real need, however, is to canter with tail swishing and bum down - and I can't seem to get the transition right to help her.
