Hi, I am getting a new saddle on thursday and was wondering weather it was worth getting a HM seat-bone saver for it too.
Currently i just ride in a normal seat saver ( wool one ) but I have heard great things about the HM one.
Could anyone give me some pros and cons about them?:D
Cheers

Its a fab invention!! I ride at a school so every saddle is different, I have only used mine once so far but it was great, it keeps u right in the proper place in the saddle and your legs too, felt a bit strange at first but sooo comfortable.
The only drawback I found was getting it on while everyone else was waiting for me, but as u have your own horse that won't be a prob.
I don't think u will be disappointed, Cate:)

Gemma, i would see if you can borrow one first as some people have said they can't get on with one. Hayley, for the first few weeks i found it was a little more firm than i needed it to be around the thigh area but after a while it moulded to my shape.
personally i'd say the sbs saver is a life saver. I would never never be able to ride without it. i think it depends on whether you have to ride on rubbishy badly designed and hard saddles or not as to whether it will make a huge amount of difference. Im just waiting till i get my own neddy so i can get the new treeless of heather's, i keep having dreams about it lol:D

If you already ride in a wool seatsaver then I wouldn't imagine you'd fail to get on with a HM one.
Mine lives on my saddle, which is already comfortable. Not only are they softer to sit on but they make your seat more stable, act as a shock absorber for the horse and enable you to sit in the right place easily.

I have one - and its like sitting on heaven! It sticks you to the saddle, gives you so much of a better seat and is sooo comfy!!!

Hmm I don't knw weather to get one still.
People have said they can't ride without them. Now that would be no good for me as I wouldn't be able to show in one.
I'm at a loss. Maybe I'll just stick to my usual woolen seat saver:rolleyes:

Couldn't live without mine! But if you are planning to show, then probably not a good plan.. don't think you can use them for showing!

i got one and hated it. i persevered with it for about 2 months and it didn't get any better. it was very comfortable but i felt 'perched' and i didn't feel it made my seat anymore secure either  i would reccommend one if you have to ride in uncomfortable saddles (at a riding school etc) but if you are getting a new saddle just get one thats comfortable for you and taffy :D

Vickie is that you?:D
Am I thinking of the right person...Jayney?
If so, hi hope you have been keeping well.:D :D
I have decided to give it a miss, as at nearly £50 i think its a bit steep, especially as i won't be able to wear it for showing.
My new Saddle is great and VERY comfy. So i think i'll stick to my normal wool one;)

I had one. I also felt perched - didn't like it at all and sold it!
