;) hi,
i had a simular problem, although its still there its more manageable,But mine does it on hacks too!
But,maybe when you get there if you give your horse plenty of time to take it in,and when he's relaxed walk him round all the grounds and etc...then do some walk halt excercises still on the ground,to try to keep his mind workin'
Although mines gone backwards a gain don't blame him though haven't ridden 4 a while.
hope its helpful

Most of the time, a horse has to be able to get his head down to buck. If you can keep her head up, and especially if you can keep her weight balanced back more toward her haunches, then you may be able to prevent many bucks.

Try cutting out hard feed completely. Most horses are overfed anyway.

I can't really offer any advice but can offer sympathy as there is a horse at my riding school who I ride regularly who has made me think I should invest in a stetson he bronco's that much  He too is only being playful too and is doing it because he's excited. he also does much more on left rein as he can't get the right canter lead and if you make him he sometimes does out of frustration.

I can only tell you what my instructor say's to me: - sit deep, keep your heels down, head up and to try and stop him bring your hands right up towards your head to bring their head up - not a very good riding position but does stop the broncoing:p

Her other alternative and pereferred method when I'm riding him is to push him on and create more implusion and speed as he can't buck and bronco if working properly - this I think is sometimes more scary  she finds it hilarous though ;) I haven't come yet touch wood and good luck with your problem
