Peter Maddison-Greenwell has lived and worked with Spanish and Lusitano horses for over twenty years. His book titled Living and Working with the Spanish Horse, is to be published by J.A.Allen here and America later this year. A must for any Iberian horse enthusiast.
To celebrate this imminent launch and years of success promoting and training both horse and rider, El Caballo de España welcome you to their home at Holdenby, Northamptonshire, for a series of lecture demonstrations and clinics. They intend to give the Spanish and Lusitano horse lover an introduction to and demonstration of:
Presentation, tack, costume, management
Training for classical & competition dressage
doma vaquera and garrocha
The first day is an all day lecture demonstration. The other days follow on and will be progressive in approach. They include clinics open to spectators.
Training Clinics
This series is equally beneficial for all breeds of riding horse. Therefore the clinics are open to all horses and riders of any level interested in the classical approach. They will be aimed at work for the individual, which we believe will benefit the spectators and participants more than a selection of horses doing a pre planned lesson.
Shiatsu for Horse & Rider
In keeping with the beliefs and principles of El Caballo de España, the well-being of both horse and rider produces co-operation and performance.
To support this there will be an opportunity to experience an introductory ‘Shiatsu’ session for both horse and rider by our qualified staff. This will be by appointment only.
