Hi everyone! I am new on here, so, hello! I own a 4 1/2 y/o Hungarian Warmblood mare named Blossom. I have some pics and I was wondering what you all thought I could work on. I know I have very bad position in these pictures, but Blossom is very green and I was wondering what you though about her. Please just her, that is all I was focusing on that day ;)

Just so you know, the reason her hocks aren't even is because i was trotting into the fences!

As, she's very pretty. I don't know enough about where you are in your training to comment on what you might need to work on, but she seems quite relaxed and happy to me.

Ditto what Kedwards said. Can you give us an idea of what you are doing with her. She looks dead relaxed to me as well, she's lovely.

In some ways I guess you've answered your own question - your position. :) However, there are too many variables in riding and training horses to make a judgement on your training regime from a few photos.

With a young horse I would suggest getting some lessons with someone who is not only going to work with you but is used to training youngsters and will give you an idea of what sort of training you should be doing with her (and also help you avoid things which are out of her range at the moment).

I am mainly trying to get her back into shape! But I ride in eventing, and dressage. We do training level dressage, and Baby Green - Beginner Novice eventing. I am trying to mainly balance over the fences really well, and stay straight through the fences. Ana she does have a private trainer that rides her once a week.
