How is the HM saddle "at the waist" (where your seatbones are placed)? Is it wide as the original HM leather saddles ?

HI Monica,

The waist is not wide in the synthetic saddles, but then again, the waist is not actually very wide in my leather saddles! The Seatbone saver top makes it look wider because there are no seams, but the foam squashes down so that it doesn't feel wide in the twist. The tree that we use is 5" across as it's widest point in the twist- not as wide as many GP saddles.

When you say 'original' HM saddles, which manufacturer do you mean, as there have been several before the excellent Barry Swain!

Thanks for the answer. Yes, it was the BS design I meant.
