Just want to inform you of a recommended fly repellent that I have only just bought but comes highly recommended for sweet itch sufferers.(from real people i met the other day!)

Beezelbug, its £25 ish pounds but only reallt needs applying once or twice a week, and can be diluted 50:50 to spray on or maintenace levels I supose.

I does not smell horrible, in fact i think it smells like beef flavoured crisps!

These people will not use anything else and their horses are normal mild-bad sweet itch sufferers.

Well , i have been using it for a week or so now and you can really tell. In Sheffield , it is very warm at the mo, sun cream warm! I was in the field last night doing some girly repairs to fencing and mine were the only horses not swishing and chest thumping at flys. I watched for 30 mins in the sun at the apparent worse time and mine were contently eating grass with the actions and swishing etc. So I am really pleased with this product and the price reflects the results;)
