can be used to store all of your horsey bits and pieces in and can be picked up at the Scrap Dealers Yard instead of buying an expensive wooden or metal box.

When our small chest freezer gave up the ghost, it was moved to our tack room and now houses feed sacks! Excellent, rodent-proof storage!!

We use them for feed too. The kind we have has a large open area on one side and a smaller compartment on the right side. The compartment holds exactly one bag of feed, so we dump it in there, and can store three more closed bags in the large compartment. They are wonderful things!

Yes, that's what we use too. You can even get a bag of HI-Fi Lite in - JUST the right height. The right hand side is really useful for holding nibbles and supplements.

Don't forget if there's any chance of young children being around to disable any locking mechanisms - great places to hide in, but sadly great paces to suffocate in as well.
