Hello..
Having just read a post where someone mentioned a recipe for home-made fly repellent, I just wondered if anyone else has recipes, and their feelings on how well they work, or if horses ever have reactions to them.
With the hot weather, Ferdie is getting increasingly bothered by flies, and he detests his spray-on fly repellent. I can spray it onto a cloth and put it on, but he seems to know its the evil fly repellent and is still dancing around. Even odder as he puts up with other sprays, wipes and lotions. Never mind fly repellent - it's horse repellent :D :D
I'm looking at getting a roll on repellent, but I thought making some would take up some time in what is now my study leave!
