Isn't a fell pony a bit on the large size for a three-year-old? Of the two shetlands - well, I'd want to know a bit more before voting. How big they are, for a start; have they been ridden on or off the lead-rein - and does it really matter with a three-year-old rider? And are they both used to tiny children?

I would say the firt one, quite dosile by the sounds of it so good 1st pony for someone so little! Are you buying it for them or is it just for them to ride? Because to ride then Mysty but if to buy then maybe rocket if they want to compete in the future - although will probably be outgrown by then!!

I'd go for the first one, she won't outgrow it so fast but it won't be so huge as the fell pony, and an ex-RDA pony sounds ideal:)
