There is a pony that I've started training, a 12hh Welsh pony (when I get pictures I'll post it; it's funny). I need ideas on what to do with this pony. He's had only a couple of rides on him, and he will eventually become a driving pony. Topper (his name) had a bit of an accident when he was younger with the cart and he now tucks his butt under himself when he gets scared. It feels like he's going to buck, but he hasn't.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do with him, other than just ride him and teach him the legs and things like that. He needs variety in his little life. ;)

Thanks a lot!!

What about taking him on some roads(even by lead) or ponying him with other horses for practise. Or lunging him for excercise and making his transitions nice from the ground! I don't know anything about "Driving" but I thought these are all good lessons for horses to learn no matter what displine!
Good luck! :)
