Sorry I haven't been on in a couple of weeks! I've been so busy working my part time job since school's out, I've been too zonked to get online!
Just a little update for those of you who have read some of my previous threads on mine and Boomer's canter woes. We were trying to do a trot-canter transition since August last year, to no avail! By March I was so peeved that we weren't getting anywhere except for a super-high-speed trot! However, many of you gave me exceptional advice and gave me soooooo much encouragement, and last Saturday I realized how far we're actually come! We've been getting a canter 90% of the time I asked him, plus last week everything just clicked! I felt what it is -really- like to sit to a canter.. Smooth and rocking-horse like, not bumby and all over the place! Also, we even tried cantering from a walk! Eee, I'm so proud of both of us!
