winter rugs in summer!

i rode happy through a bridlepath which runs right through a riding school and i saw that ALL the horses had winter rugs on! i could tell they were winter ones because some of them were exactly the same as happies winter rug! and they were all just standing there and they looked so hot! it wasnt even raining it was a lovely warm day! i was hot with ym t shirt on! poor things!

I've seen that before, i feel so sorry for horses who have to put up with that!! People use the excuse that the horse doesnt like the rain, but there are rugs available with no filling if they are that bothered then they should get one of those!!
