Hey guys, does anyone know of any good fly sheets? My horse is madly bothered by the dreaded midges on his neck and face mainly. I have had a look at the range and am totally stuck as to which to buy! So if anyone has any recommendations for flysheets which are especially good at stopping them little biting horrors then I would be very grateful.

I like the Masta sheets. Bought a sheet this year of unkown make (it was in a sale) and its good too.

I bought the weatherbeeta softmesh combo and found it doesn't stay in place round the neck, and also that it rubs my horses shoulders. Have now got the rambo sweet-itch hoody which was expensive but is great.

I also have the wetherbeater fly rug and neck cover and the fly mask to, can't fault it apart from like previously said it does rub my horses shoulders.

I've also got the weatherbeeta combo and again finds it twists around the neck and slips right back and does rub his shoulders. It does its job and I wouldn't be in any rush to change it and its also a fair bit cheaper than most. It would depend on whether you mind having a horse with a bit rubbed shoulders, its fine on mine now but would of been a disaster on my previous show horses.

I started off with Aerborn Fly sheets but they used to twist round and wouldn't stay in place. I now use Rambo flybusters. They're not as soft but they do stay in place and have never rubbed either of them.
