Hi,
I dont know anything about this topic but i have heard a riding school is adding Bromine to a particular horses feed to help calm him because he has bucked a rider off and had similar near misses with a handful of other riders.
Is this something that is heard of in the horsey world? From the little i know about Bromine doesn't it effect the thyroid and the thyroid inturn will effect the horses activity levels i.e if not working correctly would make it feel lythargic. As i say i dont know much about this but wouldn't it be better for the horse and clients to stop using it in the school and accept that not all horses are suited to such an environment!
PLEASE tell me i havent got a clue what im talking about and that the horse will be fine!
