Another Worm Question

Hi there!

Our fields are segregated off and my boy shares a field with one other gelding. We devise our own worming pretty much as we are responsible for the care of our own 'field'. My question is this: Do we need to have the same brand of wormer or can we use any so long as we are targetting the same worms?

Both horses need to be on the same programme.

I think as long as they are 'targeting' the same worms the brand names cant matter. As long as the active ingredient is the same for targetting the same type of worms what does the name matter?

Same programme is important but not the brand name.;)
