I bought mine back in January, it fitted Mysy. I was having a clear out of all my old headcollers, halters, leads and whatnot today. I got my hackamore out the packaging stuff and tried it one Mysy - its too small!!
The knot that supposed to go under her throat wont reach and her nose wont fit in the nose bit :(. Its been tried on her twice, so pretty much brand new, perfect condition and everything.
I was going to sell it, but thought about NR first. If anyone was interested in starting parelli and wanted the hackamore, we could agree a price. Just a shame to see it go to waste, here with me.
Anyway, pm me if you wanted more info.

Its a standard size. Parelli use weird sizings. But they have arab, standard, warmblood and draft. I took these as to being pony, cob, full and extra full (shire). So if you look at it like that, its a cob sized.

Is the throatlashy bit quite generous?? because fern has a strange shape head! she can have a cob nose band it, and a full throatlashy bit is just too big! Also she has a quite long head! Strange Horse!:D

It's all over to small for Mysy, her nose can't really fit in it enough to even do it up . Shes a 14.2hh/14.3hh native type if thats any help?? I dont know what size or breed Fern is, but from your avater, I am guessing a TBX...about 15.1hh?? If she has a finer head, it should be fine. I know it fits the 15.3hh arab at my yard, but his head is a bit smaller than Mysy's.

You are exactly right there! She's a 15.1hh TB X ID!
How much do you want for it??

Not a bad guess then, hey!!
They are 60 new, plus p&p. I have it advertised for 45 including p&p in the free ads and on the internet in various places.

I got the warmblood size for my IDx. The sizings are so silly I think.

They are, Blossom. What wrong with 'normal' sizing that everyone knows and understands?!

I may be a little late on this thread...but hi to all.
We are in Australia and make Natural Horsemanship rope equipment that we ship all over the world. Getting the terminology correct on sizing is a big problem. We deal with the problem by offerring to custom make each and every horsemans halter to the customers requirements.
Ok, thats enough of the problems, we would like to offer at least a partial solution. If any member is in doubt on Hackamore/Halter sizing from an International seller, please feel free to email us at info@lodgeropes.com and we will give our opinion on the sizing problem. Dont promise to 100% correct 100% of the time, but at least you know your not alone and remember we make these things everyday and deal with this problem .
BTW, we make a parelli style hackamore from quality marine double braid that we have priced at around 30 quid including economy air shipping. Have a look if you wish......... www.lodgeropes.com
Thanks and the offer is fair dinkum (as we say downunder)
