I have a 10 year old arab/t'bred cross mare, and she was jumped x-country before we got her. I do dressage, and hunter/jumper with her (just starting x-country) so we do alot of jumping...but once in a while, not ALOT my lesson teacher will say she notices that my horse is soar in the left right leg...its not in the fetlock-knee-forearm area....its more in the Thigh and hip area. It comes and goes...its happend about 4 times since i got her (in February of 2004). we had her checked out by the vet and she didnt notice anything wrong with her but put her on some joint supplements just incase, which seem to help....but it just happend the other day, where my lesson teacher said she noticed her being a little soar in the right leg...i dont notice it at all, i dont see how she sees it. She never acts up, and will still jump with it, so it cant be that bad. we thought about calling the vet again, but it rarley comes and we want the vet to look at her when she is supposdly soar. Any ideas on what it could possibly be? she is still a young horse-shes 10 going on 4 lol, but i just kind of worry about her, just like any mommy would :)
Thanks!
