Try www.dressagediagrams.com

They have most (if not all) current BD tests to download or you can buy a paper copy. I think they are £1.50 each.

Yep that's the place to find them.

Local tackshops also tend to sell dressage tests sheets at around 50p a go.

Prelim 7 is not the easiest of the prelims - there is a lot of trotting around the edge of the school.. it's very easy to forget and tends to make the horses a bit distracted. If you have a choice, I'd probably stray away from this one.. only speaking from experience of messing it up countless times!

i'd agree with the trotting but if you have a horse who is better at going straight than circling/bending then this is a good test as it shows of the trot to its full potential.

..it's mainly my forgetful rate with this one - I have done it in the region of 10 times in competition - only twice have I not made an error of course! I've never forgotten any other test, but this one is a nightmare. I may just be stupid or something though :o

dresasgediagrams is a really good site because it actually does a diagram of the test which helps to visualise it.

Good luck

Why dont u ask somebody to read it out for you?

I have done, but to be honest I don't like to have to be read to, as it distracts my attention away from my horse and his way of going. I'll still carry on going wrong, because I always get convinced that what they're reading out isn't right. I have a suspicion that I have actually *learnt* the test wrong, and learnt it so well that I can't unlearn my mistake!

It's ok though, I know to avoid it a competitions!

Good luck for your two-day event Janicexr!

I can see where you coming from .................
i did the test last night when i was warming up for my Jumping lession - It is pants - Nothing is asked of the horses apart from can it go in a straight line.:o :( :o

Anyway we have a Dressage lesson tonight - i'm sure my instructor will find something wrong with my straight line :D ;)
