Does anyone know of any unaffilliated dressage competitions in the South Wales Area.

Not my particular area but it would be worth looking at the British Dressage schedules - if there is a Prelim with section A in you can do the class as an unaffiliated rider. Some venues also run other unaffiliated classes alongside the affiliated.

Go to www.britishdressage.co.uk

click on the link for competitions and then on schedules. If you put in your post code and how far you are willing to travel it will give you some competition venues in that radius (be aware that it does the distances as the crow flies, and not the actual road journey!)

For the North-West of England a weekly newspaper "The Farmers Guardian" has a classified section which includes events/shows. The coverage runs from Shropshire to Scotland. There may be something similar for Wales, ask at your newsagents.
