There's this horse I sometimes ride at the stables and she always gallops at the jumps. I've tryed half-halts and they don't work on her and if she has a lead she just jumps on there heels.
She dosn't like leaving the other horses when it's her turn to go and cuts across the school to get back to them and when we're ment to be cantering she trys to gallop back to the ride.
If anyone has any ideas on what I should do next time I ride her please say.
Thanks:) Ellie

First of all, check her physically. Back, teeth, feet, tack... Once that is all ruled out, then you can start on as a training issue.
My gelding started to rush fences badly after my trainer insisted I jurry him to the fence in order to look pretty (we do hunters). He also is developing herdboundness (although we are overcoming this).
To be brutally honest, I just did really small circles with a VERY low jump or even a ground pole somewhere along the circle. Rumby was rushing because of the lines, so the turning right after the jump thing worked wonders for him.
Also, you might just want to go right back to square one. If you are able to, start her lunging over jumps so she can figure out how to balance herself first (oftentimes horses rush because they are insecure in their rider's ability).
If these aren't options, I would go straight back to square one, trotting over groundpoles.

I know it's not her back, teeth, ect. Everyone said it was just becouse she was young, I don't now old she is but she's not that young anymore ;) and on hacks she's fine, it's just in lessons she hates leaving the other horses. she's more of a follower, than a leader.
Ellie:)
