Does anyone have any contact details for gary witherford?
I have seen a couple of his displays but i cant find anything on the web about him! I need a proffesional to come and assess my situation, but i would like someone in the 'natural horsemanship world' Anyone know of anyone or recomendations?

Hiya

If you go back a couple of pages in this forum to a couple of months ago, or do a search on NR for him, you should come up with a bundle of stuff - there were lots of threads on him a while ago :)

Hope this helps :)

Hiya Sassyb by strange coincidence I just did a search for Gary Witheford. I don't know where the other threads are. I went right back to 2002 and only found 4 hits 1 extremely long post much off topic but interesting bits your post and two that just mention his name.

His web site gives the basic info but you can ring Suzy who is really helpful. Not sure what they charge for generally assesing your horse, but a 2 hour session at your own yard for bad loaders is £150 +travel exp.

I have had loads of probs with my boy and now I think I am a prob for him too. I just need to stop him being so scared and spooky and bolting off. I've seen Demo's by Monty and Kelly and was very impressed. I haven't seen Gary in action but have had friends on my yard send horses there with favourable results.

I went down to his yard Tuesday and talked all Shandys (and my) probs through and as a result I decided to send Shandy:)

I'm taking him down over the weekend then he starts work Mon. First they are going to assess him , then they will do call up points etc. I go to watch then I do same. He is also going to be de-flighted!! The end result should be I have a horse who I can ride out without him spining and bombimg off just cos he is scared.

The yard is really nice and all the people I met were very helpful.

I am really excited about this and can't wait for it to be Mon. They reckon they will have me riding him out again before he leaves:eek: I'm hoping for the best but not expecting miracles I will have posts in the general forums about how I get on.

Sue Brown, one of the Kelly Marks Recommended Associates, has been out to help me twice. I can definatelt recommend her. The web site is www.naturalhorsesense.co.uk.
If you go to www.intelligenthorsemanship.co.uk it will give you contact details of the RA's who work in your area.
