Is it normal to have your feet pointed out. My heels are down, but naturally...my feet just point out. i cant put up a picture of it cuase i already put up a picture of it....if you want to see what im talking about its under 'my position needs a little help' by nikita88...thats me riding of course. If it isnt normal, any suggestions to work on that? i dont really notice my feet pointing out like that.

You may find thid improves as you get a "deeper" seat, widening your hip joints and letting your knees drop down and back. You need to be keeping the flat part of your inside thigh on the saddle and the big muscle to the back, so as your lower leg will do what you want it to do. This will come with good instruction and practice!

my trainer tells me to point my toes out all the time. it also seems alot easier for me to do it that way!:D

My toes point out all the time when i ride last lesson my teacher kept telling my to relax my feet because most people relaxed foot position when riding is with their toes pointed in but mine point out. my instructer said because im young i should be able to train my feet to go in. i do find that with your toes pointed its easier to nudge rather then kick. but this is how i find it!

Yea, its easier for me to point my toes out too. Its hard to keep them in because im concentrating so much on other things i dont think twice about my feet. all my pictures i point my feet out, i try to keep them in but then they just go right back out when i start thinking of something else, i just wasnt sure if that was normal.
