Hi,

Is there any shows in which the rider can have a leader adn do the show at trot, would this be aceptable in a 12" clear round class?

In clear round jumping all of the shows I have been to are quite relaxed about people being led. You could always ring up and ask.

Most local shows also have a Nursery / Muppet stakes which is only open to the under 12 age bracket and leading is generally OK
Just don't get into the jump off. The courses always seem way too long when you have to run at full pelt.;)

That is too cute! Kind of makes me want to have kids so I can get a black and white shetland pony to drag them around on! :D

You don't need a shetland - Nat entered the tiny tots at the last club show we went to on Rio at 15.1:D She towered over some of the other competitors and could easily have stepped over some of the jumps, but it was appropriate for them to enter, and they had fun:)

Any club show worth its salt running this type of class should allow helpers and take a relaxed attitude, it's a confidence builder, for rider and/or horse:)
