Any recommendations for Half Chaps?

That are good for Fat legs?;)

Ive got Loveson Henley half chaps and I think they are quite good. They are usually £25-£30 and have an elasticated/stretchy sort of part on them which are good as my legs are a bit chubby too! They are on the Robinsons website (www.robinsons-uk.com) though I bought mine from my local tack shop.

I second Loveson Henley 1/2 chaps!! Mine have lasted me four years so far and I'm only getting rid of them cos the zip pull came off! Don't get shires, they're useless, the elasticated section goes all baggy after a couple of wears.

I have Gibbons chaps, they are nice but I had to get the Large to fit my chunky calves which means they are a bit big on me but this has not caused a problem. They are very comfy and hard wearing but a bit more pricey - I think mine were about £35 a couple of years ago.

I too have Gibbons chaps two pairs infact
The black pair I brought last year at 65 pounds!!!:eek:

but last sunday I found the exact pair except in brown in the sale section of my tack shop and I made an offer on them of 5 pounds!!!:eek: :D

I have some regency ones. They are brilliant, very light weight and easy to clean. Not very expensive AND good for abnormally large calves.:D

If you want a fun look Shires half chaps are really cute - I have a pair in pink and they are only £15, however they are fairly thin and aren't the most supportive - especially for jumping. But they do brighten up my wardrobe a bit! :D

I also have a pair of Loveson I think, which I've had for years and although they look a bit worse for wear and have lost a bit of their elasticity they still do their job well. Very good value for money :)

I'm tempted to get a pair of MH half chaps, does anyone know if they are any good?

Thanks everyone, got the Loveson Henly ones, and yes.. very pleased with the fit, better than MH and vry reasonable price too!;)
