Drummer recently had this and I couldn't get the gold label stuff quickly so I looked up the ingredients and went to my local health food shop.

On the advice of the shop lady who knew what all these things do, I bought a tube of nappy cream with calendula in it and a bottle of tea tree oil. Mixed a few drops of tea tree withcream and voila! They both cost £8 ish which is the same as wondergel but the oil can be used for other things so its cheaper in the long run!

Edit: I will post my long term results as they come in.

Ive used sudo cream (which is for nappy rash etc) it doesnt seem to help my horse at all though!

Id recomend mixing udder cream with flower of sulpher works worders for prevention and soothing mud fever and cracked heals

i apply some every day once the wet rainy seasons start and it keeps it at bay!
