Update on - is my throughbred normal?

Hi to all that read/replied to my post of late last week (maybe on Friday?) of "is my Thoroughbred normal?"

Well the vet came down, gave her an all over check and took blood for a full hemo & virus check etc. All came back clear - yippee! Such a weight off of my mind.

Though typically bought her in from the field Saturday evening to find she had a nice big hole (literally a hole) in her chest. It was very clean but thought it would need stiches but thankfully down to the healing powers of wonder stuff - Demobian green gel, the wound has started to close itself. Still means a few days box rest.

Talk about one thing after another! Still that's horses for ya.

Oh that's good news, I was thinking about your post when I had a lesson on my lazy dobbin of a throughbred on Saturday and hoping your mare was ok.

Blimin horses....I don't know, vet gives her all clear so she decides to injure herself instead!! :p At least it's not serious and is healing quickly.
