showjumping attire.

Hey everyone.
I was just wondering what (in England) is the norm for wearing at a show jumping competition. And in more detail the stock. Do you have to wear one that is like a proper full stock, or is that just for dressage? Or do you wear one that just goes around your neck and you put a stock pin through like in North America.

Cant say about the stock but you can wear
any colour jacket really
and light coloured jods,
stock/tie or a shirt like this:

thanks, I have a stock like that, and not a full tying one so was just wondering. thanks. what level of showjumping does that apply to then?

I was SJ'ing this afternoon and competitors' attire included:
- black or navy jacket with white tie or stock,
- tweed jacket and collarless coloured shirt,
- pink anorak with rider's name written on the back,
- black skin tight fleece jumper.

Basically, anything seems to go. I am borrowing a Batman costume for next Sunday!

thanks!!! I'm glad that white shirts are acceptable here, because in hunters in Canada you weren't allowed (or rather it wasn't done) to wear a white shirt. I still did because I thought it looked really classy!

light coloured jods
show jacket
any stock, (tweed jacket - coloured stock) (black or navy jacket - white stock)

well if i am jumping trailblazers or unaff- mainly in the evening... i wear my jumping shirt- colarless- with name on collar then i have white breeches, black regent long lether boots, and pale blue JW Blouson with my name on back, and if the show center specifies, i put my jacket (black show jacket) on for the ring (sometimes i will wear my hacking jacket if it really is a low level unaff comp!!!)
