Eye problem

Just received a text from one of my colleagues at the yard where I work. I'm sat at home with the Sudafed etc and Stella appears to have done something to her eye. At first they thought she had a hair or something in her eye but there appears to be a fine line straight across her pupil approx 2 inches long. She seems to be ok in herself and they are waiting for the vet to come round and take a look.

As I am a very impatient mum, anyone seen anything similar?

haven't seen anything similar, but I think you are doing the right thing having the vet without delay. I wouldn't want to take any chances with eyes.

Whatever it is, having it examined so early, I feel sure it will be fine.

At the moment they are a little unsure as to the problem. I got really anxious as both eyes were going very red and weeping - subsequently turned out she had been scratching her face on a mineral lick and it had irritated her face. She is going up to York for a specialist examination early next week and I will report back.
