Hey guys

SO SO SO Sorry i have not been on here for such a long time, been spending it alot with baz!

Anyway first update then want some help! Well as some of you know me and chloe are moving yards at the beggining of the month- to the same one, which will be soo cool.

Baz's schooling has come along greatly, accepting the bit and working into the bridle in walk and trot- constantly (THOUGHT i would never be able to say that ;) )

Well the problem is:
1. he wont bend round my leg, drops his shoulder when asking to turn ie off a serpentime or figure of eight.

2. I have got him to accept the bit in walk and trot but finding it MAJORLY hard to get him to accept me in canter! Is it a balance thing?

please help with my ickle probs (ickle compared to norm anyway :eek: )

It's great to hear from you Rache, it has certainly been a while! It's good to hear Baz is improving.

I can't really help much, but maybe he isn't rounding in canter due to lack of muscle in the back and/or neck? As I said, I can't really help much, just wanted to say it's good to hear from you again!

hehe Rache, I'm looking forward to it :D I watched a flatwork lesson a few days ago at the yard and the teacher was fantastic (Gaye) - she was using poles to get the horses to keep themselves upright and encouraging bending - could be worth a go! :D

Yes i know gaye. was she stern with the pupils or nice? As she looks really like DO THIS DO THAT LOL.

I take it no one else wants to help me then!?? :(

She was excellent - really nice :D I'll definitely be taking lessons with her when me and Dolly are a bit more "together" :D

Well if you do!! We can share costs im going to book one for the 25th i think is her next one!! But thats up to you, need lessons every 2 weeks i think!

Hehe I'm going to do at least a month by myself before I start the lessons - Dolly's not fit enough to last a half hour lesson yet...

lol no probs

baz is too fit at the moment which is scaring me lol!! Still a hell of a lot of work to do, cant wait till i clip him!
