I like the Wintec girths and cinches.
Other than that I have to admit I love the traditional:
my supersoft black leather bridle
my leather County saddle
our wool felt and sheepskin Western pad
my cotton and sheepskin English pad
I had snazzy offset Stuebben irons and eventually replaced them with old-fashioned plain fillies irons.

Lightweight, ventilated schooling helmets.
Body protector vests.
"Gel" Ariat soles.
Sports Medicine-type velcro boots.
Pasture safe halters with replaceable crowns.
I like Clarino, the suedey stuff on breeches. It lasts longer and washes better than real suede.
Happy Mouth bits are a terrific innovation.
Cell phone--I don't go riding without it, especially if I'm at home alone.

cell phones
improved joint supplements
Tuff Stuff for hooves
Polar Fleece
Wicking fabrics
neoprene boots
KK ultra bits
And, although I don't have either one, changeable gullets and treeless saddles are wonderful inventions.

Wouldn't want to be without out it!
I especially enjoy getting to chat with people all over the world that love horses and riding like I do, and have the worries and feelings of the adult world.
Thanks to everyone for sharing your lives with me every day!

At the risk of being slushy, I've just come home from the stables and I realise that more than anything else, I wouldn't want to be without my Flora :D I've had her just over 4 months and she is my 'once in a lifetime horse'. I adore her and I'd give up all the mod cons to keep her! Ahhhh ...!

I love my Wintec girth. Just hose it down and your done, heh. Also my seatbone saver is lovely. Zip up paddock boots...ventelated helmet...and novelty saddle pads. I can never get enough saddle pads.

Tub trugs - absolutely the best invention ever. I use them for everything at the yard and everything at home. One of these days I'm going use one as a handbag. :D :D

wow, this is an old thread:eek: :D The world has moved on since then;).
It sure has. I grew to absolutely despise that Abetta saddle I posted about. :p The only good thing about it was that the stirrups were so uncomfortable that I gave up using them entirely, which did help me learn to post the trot without stirrups.
It's fun to look back sometimes, though.:)
