Light bulb! Dragging feet

I've just replied to the shoeing thread and suddenly realised that on our hack Sunday, Drummer didn't drag his back feet in trot like he normaly does!! The only change is the saddle so.......:D

That's interesting.Sarah-lee is always dragging her left hind she actually squares off the hoof--sat down on the blacksmith when he was trimming her right hind for a demo the other day.

Is he going better down hills at all? That's the other thing you usually notice an improvement with. Have you sorted your stirrup length out now?:)

I'm still messing with my stirrups! I'm between 2 holes lol! I think alot of it is me and I need to learn to stretch my leg down and open my hip. After riding for nearly 2 hours on Sunday, I couldn't move on Monday! lol :D I felt like a beginner!

As for down hill, I hadn't really thought about it. Next time I ride I will see!
