Just thought I would tell you about Max the Hero. Today my Aunt and Grandad got to the stables before me and went out to the fields to get Max in. The fields are huge and Max was pretty much down the bottom, as they approached him the rest of the herd charged about as one of the horses was biting the others, my Grandad got knocked over and head butted as one of the other horses was trying to get away, Max herded the others away from my grandad who was lying on the floor, he then walked back over to where my Grandad and Aunt were to make sure my Grandad didn't get trampled and stood by him to make sure the others couldn;t get near him. Max really is a hero, needless to say he got heaps of cuddles and treats, luckily my Grandad was fine just a little shaken up.

Nothing worse than horses charging about behaving like lunatics. Good on Grandad - I'd have run a mile. You've got a really special Grandad there, so give him a hug. Max obviously realised the gravity of the situation and rose to the occasion, a very large carrot being the order of the day. L
