We went out alone!!

We didn't go far, but its the first time EVER that we have purposefully decided to go out on the roads on our own and Drummer was an angel!:D I wasn't nervous at all, even when he spooked at the really scary monster lady trimming her hedge on a ladder, lol!

He got very wizzy going home and trot nearly turned into canter but we both survived!

Fantastic!!

Well done you - I haven't had the courage to go out on my own yet. The livery is on a really busy road with a golf course at the end - and there seem to be lots of middle aged men in audi sports cars driving at around 60 mph!!

I go out a lot with my teacher (there are some breath taking hacks - but you can only access them from the road) And I'm just too chicken.

On the plus, 'White Van Man' and Lorry Drivers are my new heros, what gentlement they are! They are always the ones who slow down and pass wide - although my husband says they just enjoy looking at ladies bums in Jods - but they don't scare the horses so I don't care what the motivation!! (and after 2 children I would be secretly flattered)

Anyway, I've gone off the point.

Well done Drummer's Mum - what a huge step to have taken - and well done Drummer for walking past huge scary hedge trimmer monster!! Hope you got an extra carrot for keeping your mum safe!
