My OH's leg is slipping back when going faster than walk how do I correct his position?

It sounds like he's tensing up. If he drops his weight into his heels and relaxes through his back, absorbing the motion of the horse through his hips, his legs should stay nice and still :)

I'm guessing if his leg is slipping back his body is tipping forward and totally unbalancing him, in his position. As SJer said he sounds lke he is tensing up. Get him to sit up straight relax his shoulders and drop down into his heel his alignment will be fine.
You could also try taking his stirups away then when he falls off he'll learn not to grip with his knees:D ( only joking by the way about that second idea):D
But seiously get him to reellllllllllllaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxxx. Then it should fall into place.
