Hi all! :)

Feeling extra curious today as I happened to be peeling the mudcakes off my boy the other day and had a time and a half trying to find his belly-button! :D

Turns out he has an innie. My mare Angel has a definite outie, and my filly is an in-betweenie. LOL

I decided to stop there and not check the other six!

What's everyone else got? :D

My tb has an outie. Some girl down the yard scared the life out of me the other week by screeching and squawking about how my horse had a hernia and i should get the vet. Someone looked and kindly told her that it was a belly button  Nearly had a heart attack when she was on about it (and i looked a right prat running around going where, where am i looking!):p

That's so weird! On Saturday my friend and I were having a conversation about if horses have bellybuttons, and we couldn't decide! So now I know:D

Wow, I never realised horses had belly buttons! I suppose they obviously should, but I never really thought about it. Whereabouts on their stomach is it?

Find where the muscling meets the ribs, underneath and behind the girth area. Just follow that trail back towards the hind legs, and you should feel the belly button just a little ways ahead of the sheath (if it's a gelding). If it's a mare, just keep going till you find it. :P
