Sad...Its over

:( My Crosscountry course closed last week! Im going to be missing it all winter. My horse is just so excited when we go crosscountry...and so am I! Oh well, i guess i will have to go back to regular jumps (still really fun!) Anyone else sad the weather is turning cold ?

I recently had my last ride outside. During the summer and fall we have lovely trails, and a race track to gallop on as well as a huge field and some cross country jumps to enjoy. Now it's too cold and the ground too hard to ride outside. It really sucks living in Canada this time of year, now it's back to being snowed-in and being stuck in the indoor arena until march or april....ugh!

Very sad. Our last event was on Halloween and our last outside "outing" was at a hunter pace at the beginning of the month. Sad to see it go, but with the darkness coming earlier, the weather getting colder, and Bud in glue-on shoes for the winter, it's going to be nothing but arena work until Spring.
